The CERF LA HRTC has scheduled an upcoming election, marking the concluding stage in the selection procedure for the vacant positions within the General Steering Committee.

In a notable adjustment, due to the fact that Monday, September 4th, is a recognized holiday for many, we have rescheduled the commencement of the next election to Tuesday, September 5th, with the conclusion set for Wednesday, September 6th.

Open General Steering Committee Seats
Election Period: September 5th, 9am - September 6th, 3pm

  • Categories:
    - Resident/Workers: 5 seats available
    - Municipal Partners: 1 seat available

The Steering Committee serves as the validating body and incorporates feedback and data from the Affinity and Sub Regional Tables to make informed decisions about the HRTC strategies for the region. They will be responsible for various key designs, including Phase 2 Goals/Outcomes and Types of Data, Outreach and Engagement Strategy, Regional Strategy (Phase 1), and Economic Development and Transition Roadmap Project Strategies. These decisions will be based on data analysis and substantial input from various committees.
